Field Sales Manager – FMCG / Distribution

Location: Bhubaneswar, Odisha

Experience: Minimum 2 years; 3+ years preferred

Salary: ₹4.50–7.20 LPA + TDA + Health Insurance

We are looking for an experienced Field Sales Manager from the FMCG, dairy, or commodity sector who can build and expand our distribution network, appoint distributors and sub-distributors, develop retail markets, and manage a field sales team.

• Key ResponsibilitiesAppoint and manage distributors, sub-distributors, and retail partners.
• Expand market presence and establish a strong retail distribution network.
• Identify new territories, outlets, and business opportunities.
• Drive sales volumes, revenue growth, and product availability.
• Manage and guide field sales executives; set targets and monitor performance.
• Build strong relationships with distributors, retailers, and key market stakeholders.
• Monitor secondary sales, order generation, stock availability, collections, and market coverage.
• Conduct regular market visits and ensure execution of schemes and promotions.
• Track competitor activities, pricing, and market feedback.
• Submit daily sales reports and periodic performance reviews.
• Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)New distributor and sub-distributor appointments.
• Number of active retail outlets added.
• Monthly sales and revenue achievement against targets.
• Distributor productivity and repeat-order rate.
• Retail market coverage and outlet activation.
• Sales team productivity and target achievement.
• Stock availability, collections, and reporting discipline.
• Candidate RequirementsMinimum 2 years of relevant field sales experience; 3+ years preferred.
• FMCG, dairy, food products, or commodity distribution experience preferred.
• Proven experience in distributor appointment, sub-distributor management, and retail market development.
• Experience managing field sales teams and achieving sales targets.
• Strong communication, negotiation, public relations, and relationship-building skills.
• Willingness to travel extensively within the assigned market.
• Must be willing to relocate to Bhubaneswar.
• Compensation & BenefitsAnnual CTC: ₹4.50–7.20 lakh, depending on experience and capability.
• TDA (Travel and Daily Allowance).
• Health insurance.
