Application Engineer

• Lead and manage APQP (Advanced Product Quality Planning) activities for new product development projects.
• Prepare and track project timelines, milestones, and deliverables.
• Coordinate with customers for technical discussions, project updates, and requirement clarifications.
• Act as a single point of contact between customer and internal departments such as Design, Quality, Production, Purchase, and Supply Chain.
• Organize internal project review meetings and ensure timely closure of action items.
• Manage and coordinate for documentation related to APQP, PPAP, DFMEA, PFMEA, Control Plans, etc. with all functions
• Support prototype development, testing, validation, and product launch activities.
• Monitor risks, delays, and escalate issues proactively.
• Ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and as per customer expectations.
• Maintain MIS reports and project status dashboards.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Diploma/Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical / Electrical / Electronics / Production Engineering.
• 4–5 years of experience in Program Management /NPD in automotive or manufacturing industry.
• Good knowledge of APQP, PPAP, FMEA, Control Plan, Product Development Lifecycle.
• Strong communication and coordination skills.
• Experience in customer handling and cross-functional team management.
• Proficiency in MS Excel, PowerPoint, and project tracking tools.
• Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple projects.
