Electrician

Job Summary

We are looking for a skilled and responsible Electrician to install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair electrical systems, equipment, and machinery. The candidate should have good knowledge of electrical wiring, control panels, motors, and electrical safety procedures.

Key Responsibilities

• Install, maintain, and repair electrical wiring, fixtures, panels, and equipment.
• Troubleshoot electrical faults and perform corrective maintenance.
• Inspect electrical systems and identify potential issues.
• Perform preventive and breakdown maintenance of electrical equipment.
• Read and understand electrical drawings, wiring diagrams, and schematics.
• Install and maintain motors, starters, contactors, relays, sensors, and control panels.
• Use electrical testing equipment such as multimeters, clamp meters, and insulation testers.
• Ensure all electrical work complies with safety standards and company procedures.
• Maintain records of maintenance activities, repairs, and spare parts used.
• Coordinate with the maintenance and production teams to minimize equipment downtime.
• Follow Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) and other electrical safety procedures.

Required Qualifications

• ITI / Diploma in Electrical Engineering or equivalent qualification.
• 2–5 years of relevant industrial/commercial electrical experience.
• Good knowledge of electrical maintenance and troubleshooting.
• Ability to read electrical drawings and wiring diagrams.
• Knowledge of electrical safety practices.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
