Job Description
- Key ResponsibilitiesPrepare detailed project schedules, work breakdown structures and execution plans for fire fighting installations (hydrant, sprinkler, pump room, fire alarm and related systems).
- Study CAD layouts and prepare execution schedule in accordance with approved plans
- Plan manpower, materials, tools and equipment, and coordinate with procurement and stores so resources are on site when needed.
- Track daily and weekly progress against the baseline schedule, and prepare progress reports, MIS and look-ahead plans for management and clients.
- Identify delays, risks and bottlenecks early, and propose corrective actions and schedule recovery plans.
- Coordinate with site engineers, supervisors, subcontractors, the design team and client representatives to keep execution smooth.
- Prepare and verify measurement sheets, quantity take-offs, and billing documents with supporting records.
- Maintain project documentation, including drawings, material approvals, inspection records, test reports, and completion and handover documents.
- Ensure compliance with applicable fire safety codes and standards, client specifications and statutory requirements, including labour compliance.
- Enforce site safety practices and support safety audits and inspections.
- Support testing, commissioning, client training and final handover.
- Review project cost versus plan and support timely billing and reconciliation.
