Job Description
Business Development Manager – Bulk Embroidery & Exports
Location: Chennai | Markets: India and international markets | Function: Sales and business development
Primary objective: Generate recurring bulk hand-embroidery orders from apparel manufacturers, garment exporters, sourcing houses, fashion brands and textile manufacturers.
This person owns the entire sales pipeline, from prospect identification to order conversion and handover to production.
What this person must do
1. Identify companies that outsource hand embroidery and build a qualified database of prospective buyers.
2. Find and contact sourcing managers, production heads, procurement managers, factory owners and buying-house decision-makers.
3. Conduct cold calls, personalised emails, follow-ups, virtual meetings and buyer visits.
4. Introduce YUTI as a manufacturing partner and secure vendor-registration and supplier-approval opportunities.
5. Coordinate sample development, quotations, costing discussions and commercial negotiations.
6. Convert enquiries into paid sampling, trial orders and recurring bulk purchase orders.
7. Maintain the CRM, forecast orders and coordinate with your production team on capacity and delivery commitments.
