Electrical Maintenance Technician

Job Description:

We are looking for a skilled and responsible Maintenance Technician to handle the day-to-day maintenance and repair work at our hotel/resort. The candidate should have basic technical knowledge of electrical, plumbing, air conditioning, and general maintenance to ensure all guest rooms and hotel facilities remain in good working condition.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform routine maintenance and repair work in guest rooms, restaurants, kitchens, and common areas.
• Handle basic electrical repairs, including lights, switches, fans, and sockets.
• Attend to plumbing issues such as water leakage, taps, flush systems, and drainage.
• Inspect and maintain air conditioners, pumps, motors, and other equipment.
• Carry out preventive maintenance to avoid equipment breakdowns.
• Respond promptly to guest and departmental maintenance complaints.
• Maintain swimming pool equipment and other resort facilities as required.
• Ensure all maintenance tools and equipment are properly maintained.
• Coordinate with external technicians and service providers when required.
• Follow hotel safety procedures and maintain a clean and safe working environment.
• RequirementsITI / Diploma in Electrical, Mechanical, or a related technical field preferred.
• 1–3 years of experience in hotel, resort, or building maintenance preferred.
• Basic knowledge of electrical, plumbing, and AC maintenance.
• Ability to identify and troubleshoot maintenance problems.
• Good communication skills and a positive attitude.
• Willingness to work in shifts, including weekends and holidays, as required.
• Ability to respond to emergency maintenance requests.
