Job Description

A retail electronics sales associate guides customers through technology purchases, explains complex product specs, and drives device and service sales.


Core Responsibilities

  • Product Consultation: Explain technical specifications, device features, and compatibility issues to customers in simple terms.
  • Sales & Upselling: Recommend complete solutions, including product accessories, extended warranties, and protection plans.
  • Demonstrations: Set up, maintain, and showcase functional store displays and test devices.
  • Transactions & Inventory: Operate the POS system, process trade-ins, and help restock high-value inventory securely.


Key Skills and Qualifications

  • Tech Savviness: Strong, up-to-date knowledge of consumer electronics, operating systems, and ecosystems.
  • Communication: Ability to translate complex technical jargon into easy-to-understand customer benefits.
  • Sales Drive: Experience meeting or exceeding individual sales targets and performance metrics.
