Job Summary

We are looking for a dynamic and result-oriented Academic Counsellor to guide students and working professionals in choosing the right career-oriented training programs. The candidate will be responsible for counselling leads, understanding their career goals, explaining courses, converting enquiries into admissions, and maintaining strong student relationships.

Key Responsibilities

- Counsel students and working professionals regarding suitable courses and career paths.

- Handle enquiries generated through calls, WhatsApp, social media, walk-ins, and other channels.

- Understand students' educational background, career goals, and requirements.

- Explain course curriculum, duration, fees, placement support, and career opportunities.

- Follow up with prospective students and convert qualified leads into admissions.

- Achieve monthly admission and revenue targets.

- Maintain accurate records of leads, follow-ups, and admissions in CRM/Excel.

- Coordinate with trainers and the placement team when required.

- Build good relationships with students and parents.

- Participate in seminars, career counselling sessions, education fairs, and promotional activities.

- Provide regular reports on lead status, conversions, and pending follow-ups.

Requirements

- Bachelor's degree in any discipline.

- 2+ years of experience in academic counselling, education sales, training institute, or related roles preferred.

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

- Strong convincing, negotiation, and follow-up skills.

- Target-oriented and self-motivated.

- Good knowledge of MS Office/Excel and CRM tools.

- Candidates with experience in IT/CADD training institutes will be preferred.
