Business Development Executive (BDE)

Role : Business Development Executive 

Location : Chennai 

Work Mode : Full time

Experience : 1-2 year

Salary Range : INR 20k – 25k plus performance incentives

Skills & Qualifications Required

•Graduation in BBA/B.Com or any other equivalent course in Business Administration, Commerce, Management 

•MBA in Marketing Management preferred 

•Good English speaking skills

•Able to communicate boldly and fluently 

•Proficient in working with MS Office - Word, Excel & PowerPoint 

•Basic knowledge of professional Email drafting & communication 

•Video editing software skills will be an added advantage.

•Good knowledge of using social media applications & settings

•Excellent marketing content writing skill in English & Tamil 

•Knowledge on any of the design tools like Canva/Photoshop/Corel Draw/Adobe Illustrators or any other graphic design software tool will be added advantage.

• Well-versed in using AI tools such as ChatGPT, Gemini, Claude, Jasper AI, etc.

•Basic knowledge on Building Design, Construction & Architecture, Building Materials will be considered as added advantage.

• Working knowledge in Google sheet & Forms

•Completion of any certified course in Digital Marketing/AI Course shall be an added advantage.

Roles & Responsibilities

1. Conduct extensive market research and identify profitable business opportunities.
2. Make a strategic sales plan to achieve Weekly/ Monthly sales targets.
3. Identify new leads & contacts for business growth.
4. Attend B2B networking events & expos regularly and generate leads for the business.
5. Prepare attractive promotional Email content to reach out to potential leads and bulk email marketing via mail merge.
6. Draft letters for formal communication with higher officials of Central & State Govt. Departments and Corporates.
7. Design marketing posts in Canva/ AI Tool or other design tools for promotions on FB, Instagram, WhatsApp, etc.
8. Online Marketing campaigns using Digital Marketing tools.
9. Checking Tenders /Bids floated by Govt. Departments regularly.
10. Regular follow-up phone calls/emails to active leads & clients.
11. Bulk Email/WhatsApp for potential business leads
12. Client meetings and deliver presentations either Online or offline depending upon the requirements.
13. Setting appointments with clients and making physical meetings.
14. Attend value-added skill development training programs arranged by the organization.
15. Maintain proper records and documentation with regard to Sales, Marketing & Business development and updating regularly.
16. Assist & support the team with other administrative/technical tasks whenever required.
