Logistics ERP Implementation Specialist

Job Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Logistics ERP Implementation Specialist to support the deployment and optimization of ERP software for our logistics operations in Chennai. The role will be responsible for gathering business requirements, configuring ERP modules, coordinating system integrations, managing data migration, supporting testing activities, and ensuring smooth go-live execution. This position requires strong knowledge of logistics workflows, cross-functional coordination, and end-to-end ERP implementation practices. The responsibilities and readiness areas reflect common ERP implementation expectations such as process design, data validation, integration testing, training, and cutover.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end implementation of Logistics ERP software across business functions.
- Gather, analyze, and document requirements from operations, warehouse, transport, finance, and management teams.
- Configure ERP modules related to inventory, dispatch, billing, procurement, fleet, and reporting.
- Coordinate with internal teams and software vendors for system setup, customization, and integration.
- Manage data migration from legacy systems, including validation and reconciliation of master and transactional data.
- Support unit testing, integration testing, and user acceptance testing.
- Train end users and prepare functional documentation, process guides, and SOPs.
- Provide post-go-live stabilization support and resolve implementation issues in coordination with stakeholders.
Required Skills and Experience
- 3–8 years of experience in ERP implementation, preferably in logistics, supply chain, or transportation environments.
- Strong understanding of logistics operations, warehouse processes, transportation workflows, and billing cycles.
- Experience with ERP modules such as inventory, purchase, sales, accounts, and reporting.
- Knowledge of implementation activities such as requirement analysis, data migration, testing, training, and go-live support.
- Strong communication, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with ERP platforms such as custom logistics ERP systems.
- Exposure integrations with WMS, TMS, barcode systems, customer portals, or third-party APIs.
- Basic knowledge of GST, invoicing, and compliance requirements in India.
- Experience in preparing implementation documentation, SOPs, and user training materials.
- Language: English, Hindi & Chennai based local language
- Immediate Joiner will be preferred
