Job Description
Finance Manager with GST oversees corporate accounting, financial planning, and end-to-end indirect tax compliance under India's Goods and Services Tax framework. [1, 2, 3]
Key Responsibilities
- GST Compliance & Filings: Manage monthly and annual return cycles, including GSTR-1, GSTR-3B, GSTR-9, and GSTR-9C. [1]
- Input Tax Credit (ITC) Reconciliations: Match purchase registers with GSTR-2B, track discrepancies, and optimize valid ITC claims. [1, 2]
- Litigation & Notices: Handle GST departmental audits, SCNs (Show Cause Notices), DRC-01As, and coordinate with legal counsel for appeals.
- General Accounting & Month-End Close: Oversee ledger scrutiny, accounts payable/receivable, bank reconciliations, and timely book closures. [1, 2, 3]
- MIS & Financial Reporting: Prepare variance analysis, cash flow forecasts, budget tracking, and management dashboards. [1, 2]
- Audits: Liaise with statutory, internal, and tax auditors to ensure clean audit trails. [1]
