Job Description
Core Responsibilities
- Guest Relations: Welcome customers warmly, manage seating or reservations, and answer questions about menu items, ingredients, or daily specials. []
- Order and Service Delivery: Take accurate food and beverage orders, relay special dietary needs or allergies to the kitchen, and serve courses promptly. [1, 2, 3, 5]
- Billing and Payments: Present accurate bills to guests, operate the Point of Sale (POS) or cash register system, and process payments securely. [1, 2, 3, 5]
- Dining Area Maintenance: Clear and reset tables, clean spills, restock station supplies, and maintain overall cleanliness in the front-of-house. [1, 2, 3]
- Team Coordination: Communicate closely with kitchen chefs and service stewards to manage table flow and fix any service delays
