Hiring Manager

i2Global School, Chennai is looking for a Hiring Manager to run recruitment for our front-line teams. You will hire School Admission Counsellors, Business Development Managers and similar roles across the group, including our teacher training business.

What you will do:

• Own the hiring plan and deliver against a monthly joiner target
• - Source candidates through job portals, referrals and direct outreach
• - Screen on substance, not just availability, before anyone reaches a hiring manager
• - Run and fill the interview calendar, and keep it on time
• - Stay close to offered candidates until they actually join, and bring down drop-offs
• - Keep the recruitment tracker accurate and report numbers weekly

What we are looking for:

• 2 to 4 years in recruitment, ideally hiring sales, counselling or front-line roles
• - Comfortable working to a number and reporting it honestly
• - Good spoken and written English, and Tamil for candidate conversations
• - Able to work from our Okkiyam Thuraipakkam office, 6 days a week
• - Graduate in any discipline

This role suits someone who wants to build a recruitment function rather than just fill vacancies. You will be given the targets, the tools and the authority to run the desk.
