The Nurse In-Charge is authorized to:

• Allocate nursing duties within the assigned unit.
• Supervise and guide nursing personnel.
• Escalate staffing, clinical, patient-safety, and operational concerns.
• Initiate immediate action within established protocols during emergencies.
• Request necessary nursing supplies and equipment through the approved process.
• The Nurse In-Charge is accountable for the quality, safety, continuity, and effective coordination of nursing services within the assigned unit.

Shift-based work, including night shifts, weekends.

May be required to respond to emergencies and high-risk clinical situations.

• Requires regular interaction with patients, attendants, doctors, nurses, and multidisciplinary healthcare teams.
