Mechanical Engineer

Maintaining our SLA and FDM 3D printers, preparing print jobs, monitoring production, performing post-processing and ensuring that finished parts meet our quality requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

3D Printing

• Operate SLA and FDM 3D printers.
• Prepare and run print jobs according to production requirements.
• Use slicing software to prepare files for printing.
• Select appropriate print orientation, supports and print settings.
• Monitor ongoing prints and identify potential failures.
• Remove completed prints safely and efficiently.
• Maintain a proper print schedule to maximize machine utilization.

SLA Post-Processing

• Remove supports from printed parts.
• Wash and clean resin parts.
• UV cure parts according to process requirements.
• Perform basic sanding and surface preparation.
• Handle resin and printing consumables safely.

FDM Post-Processing

• Remove supports.
• Basic sanding and finishing.
• Check dimensions and surface quality.
• Prepare parts for further finishing such as painting or assembly.

Machine Maintenance

• Perform routine cleaning and maintenance of printers.
• Check build plates, resin tanks, nozzles and other consumables.
• Perform basic troubleshooting.
• Escalate machine problems when required.
• Keep the printing area clean and organized.

Quality Control

• Inspect completed parts for defects, warping, layer problems, support marks and dimensional issues.
• Identify failed prints and determine the likely cause.
• Maintain records of successful and failed prints.
• Ensure parts are produced according to the required specifications.

Production Records

• Maintain daily print-production records.
• Record material consumption.
• Record failed prints and wastage.
• Update job status and production quantities.
• Follow the company's production SOPs.
• RequirementsITI / Diploma / Polytechnic qualification preferred.
• 0–2 years of experience in 3D printing, manufacturing, machine operation or a similar field.
• Freshers with strong mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn are welcome.
• Basic computer knowledge.
• Ability to follow technical instructions and SOPs.
• Good attention to detail.
• Willingness to work in a hands-on manufacturing environment.
• Responsible and disciplined approach to work.

Preferred SkillsExperience with any of the following is an advantage:

• SLA / resin 3D printing
• FDM 3D printing
• Bambu Lab printers
• Jupiter / Elegoo / Anycubic or similar resin printers
• Bambu Studio
• Cura / PrusaSlicer
• Basic CAD/STL file handling
• Sanding and post-processing
• Painting or model finishing
• Basic mechanical troubleshooting
