About the RoleRKN Flexible Packaging is looking for a B.Sc. Mathematics graduate to join our Production Planning & Control team.

The candidate will be responsible for assisting in production planning, maintaining production data, coordinating with different departments, and ensuring that customer orders are planned and executed on time.

This is a suitable opportunity for a fresher who is good with numbers, Excel, planning, follow-up and coordinationand is interested in building a career in manufacturing operations.

• Key ResponsibilitiesPrepare and update daily and weekly production plans based on customer orders and production priorities.
• Enter and maintain production data accurately in MS Excel.
• Track Sales Orders → Production Planning → Production → Dispatch.
• Coordinate with Sales, Stores, Production, Quality and Purchase departments.
• Check availability of raw materials, films, inks, plates, packing materials and other production requirementsbefore planning jobs.
• Follow up with production departments regarding job status and completion.
• Maintain production planning and job status reports.
• Track planned quantity versus actual production.
• Identify delays, pending jobs and material shortages and immediately escalate them to the concerned person.
• Maintain daily MIS reports and production records.
• Assist in preparing machine-wise and job-wise production schedules.
• Maintain proper documentation and ensure data accuracy.
• Support the PPC/Production Manager in daily planning and coordination activities.

Required SkillsMandatory:

• B.Sc. Mathematics
• Good numerical ability
• Good knowledge of MS Excel
• Good communication and coordination skills
• Strong attention to detail
• Willingness to learn manufacturing processes
• Ability to follow up with multiple departments

Preferred:

• Knowledge of Excel formulas such as VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, SUMIF/SUMIFS, COUNTIF and Pivot Tables
• Basic understanding of production planning
• Interest in manufacturing/operations
• Good typing and data-entry skills
