Job Description

Job Title: Retail Pharmacist / Assistant Pharmacist / Pharmacy Assistant

Responsibilities:

  • Dispense medicines under the supervision of a registered pharmacist (where applicable).
  • Assist in billing, inventory management, stock maintenance, and expiry checks.
  • Arrange and maintain medicines on shelves.
  • Guide customers regarding medicine availability and direct them appropriately.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the pharmacy.
  • Handle pharmacy software and billing systems.
  • Support home delivery and medicine packing when required.
  • Coordinate with doctors and other healthcare staff.

Eligibility:

  • Retail Pharmacist: D.Pharm or B.Pharm with a valid State Pharmacy Council registration.
  • Assistant Pharmacist / Pharmacy Assistant: D.Pharm (without registration, if applicable), B.Sc. (Life Sciences), M.Sc. (Life Sciences), Biotechnology, Microbiology, Biochemistry, Nursing, or other relevant science graduates.
  • Freshers and experienced candidates are welcome.
  • Good communication skills in Tamil and English.
  • Basic computer knowledge is preferred.
