Job Description
Field Sales Executive – Plastometal
Location: Chennai, Tamil Nadu, with travel across Tamil Nadu.
Employment type: Full-time
Salary: ₹20,000–₹25,000 per month
Experience: Open to candidates with relevant experience; Good Communication Skills
Languages: Tamil and English
About Plastometal
Plastometal is a Chennai-based business offering plastic household products, containers, combs and related products. We are expanding our customer base and looking for a field sales professional to develop new wholesale and distributor relationships.
Responsibilities
* Identify and approach new customers, wholesalers, retailers and distributors.
* Visit wholesale markets and prospective customers across Tamil Nadu and South India.
* Present the company’s product catalogue and communicate approved pricing.
* Generate enquiries, follow up on quotations and secure orders.
* Build long-term customer relationships and develop repeat business.
* Maintain records of customer visits, leads, quotations and orders.
* Report market opportunities, competitor activity and customer feedback.
Requirements
* Willingness to travel across Tamil Nadu and South India.
* Good communication skills in Tamil and English.
* Ability to approach new customers, build relationships and follow up consistently.
* Basic smartphone skills and willingness to maintain sales records.
* Relevant field sales or distribution experience is an advantage, but experience is flexible.
Compensation
₹20,000–₹25,000 per month. Travel reimbursement and performance incentives are subject to the company’s policy and will be discussed during the hiring process.
