Staff Nurse

Job description:

• Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients according to their clinical needs and care plans.
• Assess patients and monitor vital signs, symptoms, and overall condition.
• Administer medications, injections, IV therapy, and treatments as prescribed.
• Assist doctors during examinations, procedures, and emergency situations.
• Perform wound care, dressing, catheter care, and other nursing procedures.
• Monitor and document patient progress, treatment, and nursing interventions.
• Maintain accurate nursing records, medication charts, and patient documentation.
• Educate patients and caregivers regarding medications, treatment, hygiene, nutrition, and discharge care.
• Coordinate with doctors, physiotherapists, and other healthcare professionals for effective patient care.
• Follow infection-control, medication-safety, patient-safety, and hospital protocols.
• Assist with patient admission, transfer, discharge, and handover procedures.
• Respond promptly to changes in patient condition and escalate concerns to the appropriate medical team.
