Electrical Maintenance Technician Lead

We are a newly launching Electrical Maintenance startup founded by an industry veteran with 25+ years of extensive experience in the electrical sector. With a solid foundation of technical expertise, deep industry knowledge, and an established network, we are poised for rapid growth.

This is a non-investor, equity-based execution role. We are not looking for financial investment; we are looking for an individual who will invest their time, electrical maintenance expertise, and leadership skills to run the business operations day-in and day-out.

Job Summary

We are seeking an entrepreneurial Working Partner & Electrical Supervisor Lead to co-manage, scale, and lead our residential and commercial electrical maintenance business. In this high-ownership role, you will act as my direct strategic partner, taking full responsibility for field operations, team leadership, and technical quality assurance.

You will oversee daily dispatching, safety compliance, and workforce management through our proprietary internal software, while collaborating directly with me on business strategy, client acquisition, and operational growth.

This position is built for a master or journeyman electrician who wants to transition from a traditional employee mindset to a true business co-owner with significant financial upside.

Key Partnership & Strategic Responsibilities

• Business Co-Management: Partner directly with the owner to plan operational growth, optimize service delivery, and manage financial performance.
• Operational Leadership: Oversee the daily distribution of residential and commercial service tickets using our custom internal software.
• Team Scaling & Mentorship: Recruit, onboard, train, and manage a high-performing team of electrical maintenance technicians as the business grows.
• Quality & Safety Governance: Serve as the ultimate authority on NEC safety standards, local codes, and liability management across all active job sites.
• Client & Account Management: Cultivate long-term relationships with property management firms, commercial facility directors, and residential communities.

Core Field & Technical Responsibilities

• Escalated Troubleshooting: Lead diagnostics on complex single-phase (residential) and three-phase (commercial) electrical issues that require advanced expertise.
• System Maintenance Audits: Conduct random and scheduled inspections of field repairs on lighting, HVAC power supplies, backup generators, and switchboards.
• Inventory Control: Monitor truck stock, manage material procurement workflows, and optimize tool allocations to maximize team efficiency.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Experience: 5+ years of hands-on commercial and residential electrical maintenance experience, with 2+ years in a supervisory, crew lead, or service manager role.
• Mindset: Strong entrepreneurial drive with a clear understanding of business operations, profit margins, and long-term equity value.
• Tech Literacy: High comfort level working with proprietary, custom-built work order applications and digital scheduling tools.
• Logistics: Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
