Field Sales Executive

Job Description – Field Sales Officer (FOS) Position Field Sales Officer (FOS) Location As per business requirement Role Overview The Field Sales Officer (FOS) will be assigned specific bank branches and will be responsible for building and maintaining strong relationships with the bank branch staff. The FOS will work closely with the bank to identify customers who are opening Current Accounts or already hold Current Accounts and pitch mSwipe POS solutions to eligible customers. The role involves engaging with bank personnel, identifying potential merchant leads, understanding customer requirements, explaining the benefits of mSwipe POS solutions, facilitating the order and payment process, and coordinating with the relevant teams for successful device deployment. Key Roles & Responsibilities Bank Branch Relationship Management ● Build and maintain strong working relationships with the assigned bank branches and branch staff. ● Regularly visit assigned branches and coordinate with bank officials to identify potential Current Account customers. ● Work closely with branch teams to understand customer profiles and identify merchants who may benefit from mSwipe POS solutions. ● Ensure regular communication and coordination with bank personnel to generate qualified leads. ● Act as the primary mSwipe point of contact for assigned bank branches. Customer Engagement & Product Pitching ● Engage with customers who are opening Current Accounts and existing Current Account holders referred by the bank. ● Identify eligible merchants and understand their business and payment acceptance requirements. ● Pitch mSwipe POS solutions by explaining their features, benefits, pricing, and suitability for the customer's business. ● Address customer queries and provide accurate information about the product and onboarding process. ● Convert eligible Current Account customers into mSwipe POS users. Sales & Order Generation ● Generate leads and drive orders for mSwipe POS solutions through assigned bank branches. ● Assist customers in completing the required onboarding and order process. ● Collect the applicable payment from the customer as per the defined process. ● Ensure all required customer details, documentation, and order information are accurately captured. ● Follow up with customers and bank officials to support successful order closure. Device Deployment & Customer Coordination ● Coordinate with the relevant mSwipe teams for device installation or deployment. ● Keep customers informed about the next steps and expected deployment timelines. ● Address basic customer queries during the onboarding and deployment process. ● Coordinate with internal teams to resolve product, operational, or deployment-related issues. ● Support the customer until the POS device is successfully delivered and activated. Reporting & Compliance ● Maintain daily records of branch visits, bank interactions, customer leads, pitches, orders, and conversions. ● Update all required information in the designated system or MIS. ● Share regular performance updates with the reporting manager. ● Ensure adherence to mSwipe, bank, and regulatory processes and compliance requirements. ● Maintain accurate records of customer interactions, documentation, payments, and order status. Desired Candidate Profile ● Graduate preferred; candidates with relevant field sales or banking experience may also be considered. ● Prior experience in field sales, banking, merchant acquisition, fintech, payments, POS, or Soundbox sales will be preferred. ● Experience in building relationships with bank branches or branch staff will be an advantage. ● Comfortable working from and regularly visiting assigned bank branches. ● Strong communication, interpersonal, and relationship-building skills. ● Ability to engage with bank officials and customers professionally. ● Ability to explain products and services clearly and confidently. ● Basic understanding of Current Accounts, digital payments, and merchant payment acceptance solutions will be an advantage. ● Comfortable using smartphones, mobile applications, and digital reporting tools. ● Self-motivated, target-oriented, and capable of working independently. Reporting Structure The FOS will report to the designated mSwipe reporting manager/supervisor for day-to-day management, branch engagement, sales execution, productivity monitoring, and performance reporting.
