Job Description

  • Dealer DevelopmentIdentify and approach new electrical, plumbing, hardware and building-material dealers.
  • Develop new dealer accounts in the assigned territory.
  • Explain product features, benefits, pricing and schemes to dealers.
  • Build long-term relationships with dealers and retailers.
  • Increase the number of active dealers every month.
  • 2. Sales & Order GenerationVisit dealers regularly and generate orders.
  • Achieve monthly sales targets for Havells, CRYSLER and UltraTech products.
  • Generate repeat orders from existing dealers.
  • Introduce new products and increase product penetration among dealers.
  • Cross-sell products across the company's product portfolio.
  • Follow up on quotations and convert enquiries into orders.
  • 3. Market VisitsPlan daily routes and visit dealers according to the territory plan.
  • Maintain regular physical presence in the market.
  • Identify new shops, dealers, contractors and business opportunities.
  • Monitor competitor brands, pricing, schemes and market activities.
  • Report important market developments to the management.
  • 4. Dealer Relationship ManagementMaintain regular communication with dealers.
  • Understand dealer requirements and resolve issues quickly.
  • Coordinate with the office/warehouse for product availability and delivery.
  • Ensure promised deliveries and commitments are followed up.
  • Build trust and make the company the preferred supplier.
  • 5. Payment & Outstanding Follow-upFollow up with dealers for outstanding payments.
  • Maintain awareness of each dealer's credit limit and payment history.
  • Coordinate with accounts regarding overdue payments.
  • Avoid unnecessary credit exposure and inform management about risky accounts.
  • 6. Reporting & DisciplineSubmit daily visit reports.
  • Maintain accurate records of dealer visits, enquiries, orders and collections.
  • Prepare daily/weekly sales updates.
  • Maintain a list of active, inactive and potential dealers.
  • Follow the company's CRM/reporting system consistently
