Foundry Supervisor

Job SummaryWe are looking for a Foundry Supervisor with 2–3 years of experience in the metal industry to supervise daily foundry production activities, manage workers, maintain quality standards, and ensure smooth production operations.

• Key ResponsibilitiesSupervise day-to-day foundry production activities.
• Manage and coordinate operators and shop-floor workers.
• Monitor melting, moulding, pouring, and casting processes.
• Ensure production targets are achieved as per the schedule.
• Check the quality of castings and identify defects.
• Monitor furnace operations and maintain proper temperature and process parameters.
• Ensure proper use of raw materials and reduce material wastage.
• Coordinate with maintenance and quality teams to resolve production issues.
• Maintain production records and prepare daily reports.
• Ensure workers follow safety procedures and PPE requirements.
• Identify process problems and take corrective action.
• Train and guide workers on proper operating procedures.
• Required Skills2–3 years of experience in a foundry / metal manufacturing environment.
• Knowledge of basic casting and foundry processes.
• Experience in handling shop-floor workers.
• Basic knowledge of furnace, moulding, pouring, and casting operations.
• Ability to identify common casting defects.
• Good communication and team-handling skills.
• Ability to work in a production-oriented environment.

Preferred ExperienceCandidates from Iron Foundry, Steel Foundry, Aluminium Foundry, SG Iron, CI Foundry, or other metal casting industries can be considered.
