Job Description
· Managing the cash flow in and out of the store.
· Adhering to policies and procedures to avoid theft and in appropriation of funds.
· To maintain petty cash, cash book, Purchase Register, Bank Book.
· Responsible for deposit of cash and cheques in the bank.
· Closure of the cash / bank accounts on a monthly basis for the monthly closing purposes.
· To ensure safety of all the accounting records and physical cash in the store & has adequate back up system.
· Understanding the store operations and aligning his / her work to achieve highest level of efficiency.
· Supervising the cashier for Petty cash Book & cash Payment.
· Preparation of MIS on daily cash flow status.
· To conduct surprise cash verification at the counters.
· Compile and maintain non-monetary reports and records.
Train new cashier, provide technical support, and help in back office work.
