Senior Purchase Executive

Key responsibilities

1. Purchase order and documentation

• Prepare purchase orders based on approved requirements and quotations.
• Ensure purchase orders, invoices, delivery challans, and supporting documents are complete and accurate.
• Coordinate with Accounts for timely invoice verification and processing.

1. Material follow-up and delivery coordination

• Follow up with suppliers for order confirmation, dispatch, and delivery.
• Maintain an updated status of pending purchase orders.
• Escalate potential delivery delays to the Senior Purchase Executive.

1. Inventory management

• Coordinate with Stores to track stock levels and material receipts.
• Monitor minimum stock levels and highlight shortages or excess inventory.
• Ensure received quantities and documentation are properly recorded.

1. Price and order compliance

• Verify prices against approved quotations and purchase orders.
• Ensure purchases are made only against authorized requirements and approved specifications.
• Highlight price discrepancies before processing orders or bills.

1. Bill processing and coordination

• Submit complete supplier bills to Accounts within the prescribed timeline.
• Follow up on pending invoices and resolve documentation gaps.
• Maintain accurate purchase records and reports.
