Job Description
- Key ResponsibilitiesMake outbound calls to potential and existing customers.
- Explain the company’s solar panel products and services.
- Generate qualified leads through telephone calls.
- Understand customer requirements and electricity usage.
- Answer basic customer questions about solar systems.
- Explain the benefits of installing solar panels.
- Collect customer information such as name, location, phone number, electricity consumption, and requirements.
- Schedule appointments and site visits for interested customers.
- Follow up with customers who have shown interest in solar installation.
- Maintain regular follow-ups until the lead is transferred to the sales team.
- Update customer details and call status in Excel, CRM, or company records.
- Handle incoming customer calls professionally.
- Coordinate with the sales and technical teams regarding customer requirements.
- Inform customers about ongoing offers, services, and company activities when applicable.
- Achieve daily and monthly calling and lead-generation targets.
- Prepare daily call and follow-up reports.
- Maintain professional and polite communication with every customer.
- Required SkillsExcellent telephone communication skills.
- Good Tamil and English communication skills; knowledge of other local languages is an advantage.
- Pleasant and confident voice.
- Good listening and customer-handling skills.
- Basic computer knowledge.
- Knowledge of MS Excel or CRM software is preferred.
- Ability to convince and engage customers.
- Good follow-up skills.
- Positive attitude and willingness to learn.
