Job Description

Fabrication & Assembly: Set up, align, fit, and weld metal parts, components, or structures using MIG (GMAW), TIG (GTAW), or Stick (SMAW) methods.

Blueprint Reading: Interpret technical drawings, blueprints, diagrams, and welding symbols to plan layout and execution sequence.

Material Preparation: Cut, grind, clean, and shape materials using plasma cutters, oxy-fuel torches, grinders, and saws prior to welding.

Quality Inspection: Inspect welded joints using precision measuring tools to ensure welds meet quality specifications, dimensions, and structural integrity standards.

Equipment Maintenance: Perform routine maintenance on welding tools, torches, power supplies, and safety gear; report equipment malfunctions.

Safety Compliance: Adhere to strict safety guidelines, proper shop safety practices, and consistent use of required personal protective equipment (PPE).
