## Job Overview

We are looking for a passionate, energetic, and customer-focused **Barista Assistant** to join our café team. The ideal candidate will assist the barista in preparing high-quality beverages, maintaining cleanliness, supporting kitchen and counter operations, and delivering an excellent customer experience. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment and is eager to learn café operations.

## Key Responsibilities

* Assist the barista in preparing coffee, tea, shakes, smoothies, and other beverages.

* Prepare ingredients and ensure all supplies are stocked before and during service.

* Maintain cleanliness of coffee machines, workstations, utensils, and equipment.

* Serve customers politely and provide a welcoming café experience.

* Take customer orders accurately and coordinate with the kitchen when required.

* Assist in food plating and basic preparation as instructed.

* Wash utensils, cups, pitchers, and maintain hygiene standards.

* Refill inventory, organize storage, and monitor stock levels.

* Follow food safety, hygiene, and sanitation guidelines at all times.

* Support opening and closing duties of the café.

* Work collaboratively with the team to ensure smooth daily operations.

## Requirements

* Previous experience in a café, restaurant, or hospitality industry is preferred but not mandatory.

* Basic knowledge of coffee and beverages is an advantage.

* Good communication and customer service skills.

* Positive attitude with a willingness to learn.

* Ability to work efficiently under pressure.

* Punctual, responsible, and team-oriented.

* Flexible to work weekends, holidays, and rotating shifts if required.
