Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

  • Receiving & storing ingredients
  • Bread / Shokupan making
  • Sauce & filling preparation
  • Chopping & food prep
  • Vegetable & herb garnishes
  • Sando preparation & assembly
  • Frying sides
  • Managing dry store & chiller
  • Stock checking & ordering
  • Daily kitchen cleaning & hygiene
  • Deep cleaning twice a week
  • Assisting with general kitchen operations

Requirements:

  • Previous kitchen/café experience preferred
  • Good hygiene & organisational skills
  • Ability to follow recipes and maintain consistency
  • Hardworking, punctual & willing to learn
  • Japanese/Asian cuisine experience is a plus, but not required
