Core Job Responsibilities

• Order Pickup & Verification: Collect items or meals from restaurants, hubs, or merchants, checking order numbers, item counts, and recipient details before leaving. [1, 2, 3, 4]
• Safe & Timely Transportation: Drive, ride a bike, or walk along assigned routes to deliver items promptly while obeying traffic laws and safety rules. [1, 2, 3]
• Route Planning & Navigation: Use GPS, mapping tools, and local area knowledge to choose the fastest and most fuel-efficient paths. [1, 2, 3]
• Customer Service & Communication: Greet customers politely, call or message for exact location directions, and answer questions or handle basic complaints. [1, 2, 3, 4]
• Payments & Documentation: Collect cash or digital payments/cash-on-delivery (COD), gather signatures or digital proof of delivery, and maintain delivery logs. [1, 2, 3, 4, 5]
• Vehicle & Cargo Care: Inspect, clean, and maintain the delivery vehicle or bike (checking tires, brakes, and fuel/battery), and load/unload goods safely to prevent damage. [1, 2, 3]
• App & Status Updates: Update live delivery status (such as Picked Up, In Transit, or Delivered) through company platforms like Swiggy or logistics tracking tools. [1, 2, 3]

Key Requirements

• Valid License & ID: A valid driving license (for motorbikes/cars) and government identity proof (like Aadhaar or PAN).
• Time Management & Punctuality: Ability to manage tight delivery windows in high-traffic or fast-paced conditions.
• Physical Fitness: Stamina to handle frequent loading, unloading, and active movement throughout the shift.
