ELV DATA TECHNICIAN

URGENT AND IMMEDIATELY HIRING

We are looking for a skilled ELV / DATA Technician with hands-on experience in the installation, termination, testing, commissioning and troubleshooting of ELV systems, including Data, Telephone, CCTV and EPABX/PABX systems.

Key Responsibilities

Carry out installation, termination, testing and commissioning of Data, Telephone, CCTV and EPABX/PABX systems.

Install and terminate CAT6/CAT6A cables, patch panels, information outlets, patch cords and data racks.

Perform LAN/Data cabling, cable dressing, labeling and cable management as per project requirements.

Install and troubleshoot CCTV cameras, NVR/DVR, switches, PoE equipment and associated cabling.

Install and maintain EPABX/PABX systems, telephone outlets and telephone cabling.

Conduct cable testing using appropriate testing tools and identify/fix cable faults.

Read and understand ELV shop drawings, layouts, schematics and cable schedules.

Carry out point-to-point checking and ensure proper termination and connectivity.

Assist in testing, commissioning and troubleshooting of ELV systems.

Coordinate with Site Engineers, Supervisors and other MEP teams for smooth execution.

Ensure installation work is completed as per approved drawings, specifications, quality standards and project schedule.

Maintain proper documentation of testing, installation and completed points.

Follow all site safety procedures and housekeeping requirements.

Required Skills & Qualification

ITI / Diploma in Electrical, Electronics, IT or related field will be preferred.

2–5 years of relevant hands-on experience in ELV/Data works.

Good practical knowledge of Structured Cabling, CCTV, Telephone and EPABX/PABX systems.

Knowledge of CAT6/CAT6A cable termination and testing.

Ability to use basic ELV testing tools and equipment.

Ability to independently handle site installation and troubleshooting activities.

Good coordination, discipline and willingness to work at project sites.

Preferred Experience

Experience in commercial buildings, offices, warehouses, hotels, data centres or other MEP/ELV projects will be an advantage.
