Factory Supervisor

Job SummaryWe are looking for an experienced Injection Moulding Machine Factory Supervisor to supervise daily production activities, machine operations, manpower, quality, safety, and productivity on the factory floor.

The candidate should have good knowledge of injection moulding machines, mould setting, production planning, troubleshooting, quality control, and shop-floor management.

• Key ResponsibilitiesSupervise daily injection moulding production activities.
• Monitor machine-wise production targets and output.
• Ensure machines are running according to approved process parameters.
• Handle mould changing, mould setting, and machine setup activities.
• Monitor cycle time, rejection percentage, wastage, and productivity.
• Allocate manpower according to production requirements.
• Maintain proper shift-wise production records.
• Coordinate with Production, Quality, Maintenance, and Store departments.
• Identify and resolve basic machine and mould-related issues.
• Ensure preventive maintenance schedules are followed.
• Monitor raw material usage and control material wastage.
• Check finished product quality during production.
• Ensure defective products are identified and separated.
• Maintain proper housekeeping and 5S on the shop floor.
• Ensure workers follow safety rules and use required PPE.
• Train machine operators and helpers on production processes.
• Monitor attendance, discipline, and performance of shop-floor employees.
• Prepare daily production and rejection reports.
• Ensure production targets are completed within the required timeline.
• Report major breakdowns, quality issues, and production delays to management.
