Senior Waiter

Job Summary

We are seeking a courteous, energetic, and customer-oriented Waiter / Order Taker to provide excellent dining service and ensure a memorable guest experience. The ideal candidate will be responsible for taking customer orders accurately, serving food and beverages, and maintaining high standards of hospitality, cleanliness, and professionalism.

Key Responsibilities

• Welcome and assist guests in a friendly and professional manner.
• Present menus, explain dishes, and provide recommendations when required.
• Take food and beverage orders accurately using the POS system or order pads.
• Coordinate with the kitchen and bar to ensure timely preparation and delivery of orders.
• Serve food and beverages promptly while maintaining presentation standards.
• Check on guests during their meal to ensure satisfaction and address any concerns.
• Prepare and present bills, process payments, and return change or receipts accurately.
• Set up and clear tables before and after service.
• Maintain cleanliness and hygiene of the dining area according to food safety standards.
• Handle guest complaints politely and escalate issues to the Restaurant Manager when necessary.
• Follow all restaurant policies, safety procedures, and service standards.
• Support team members during busy periods to ensure smooth restaurant operations.
