UAT Testing Intern

About the Company

Correm Advisory India Private Limited is an advisory firm engaged in debt syndication, private equity, market research, business research, and financial advisory services. The company focuses on delivering structured, research-driven solutions and supporting business growth through analytical and technology-enabled processes.

Key Roles and Responsibilities

·  Actively use the company's applications to understand their functionality, features, and workflows.

·  Perform User Acceptance Testing (UAT) to ensure that applications work as expected and meet internal business requirements.

·  Explore different application features and identify ways to improve their usability, efficiency, and overall user experience.

·  Identify bugs, errors, inconsistencies, and difficulties encountered while using the applications.

·  Provide practical feedback and suggestions to improve application functionality and ease of use.

·  Test different workflows and scenarios to verify the accuracy and reliability of application outputs.

·  Document issues, observations, screenshots, and suggestions in a clear and structured manner.

·  Coordinate with the development and business teams to communicate issues and discuss potential improvements.

·  Retest applications after updates or bug fixes to verify that the issues have been resolved.

·  Assist in preparing test reports and maintaining records of application performance and usability observations.

·  Help team members understand application features and recommend better ways to use the available functionalities.

·  Support continuous improvement by identifying opportunities to make the company's applications more user-friendly and effective for internal operations.

Additional Requirements

·  Basic understanding of software testing, quality assurance, and the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).

·  Familiarity with manual testing, test cases, test scenarios, and bug reporting.

·  Basic knowledge of SQL and databases is an advantage.

·  Familiarity with tools such as Jira, Trello, Excel, or similar issue-tracking and documentation tools is a plus.

·  Strong analytical thinking and attention to detail.

·  Good written and verbal communication skills.

·  Ability to identify problems, analyse workflows, and suggest practical improvements.

·  Willingness to learn, take feedback, and work collaboratively with technical and non-technical teams.

·  Prior internship or project experience in software testing is an advantage but not mandatory.
