Work Location Alupuram, P.B. No. 30, Kalamassery 683 104, Ernakulam, Kerala
Hours 8:30 AM – 4:30 PM
CANDIDATE QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS
• Education: B.Pharm or D.Pharm from a recognized institution.
• Mandatory registration: Active registration certificate with the Kerala State Pharmacy Council.
• Technical skills: Basic proficiency in pharmacy management software and MS Office.
• Languages: Strong communication skills in Malayalam and English; Hindi is an added advantage.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES & SCOPE OF WORK
1. Prescription review & dispensing: Verify prescriptions, confirm dosage accuracy, check potential drug interactions, and dispense medicines safely.
2. Inventory & stock management: Monitor daily stock, coordinate reorders, maintain required storage and temperature conditions, and remove expired inventory.
3. Patient guidance & counselling: Explain medication schedules, correct usage, dosages, precautions, and possible side effects clearly to patients.
4. Compliance & records: Maintain online/offline records and logs in line with Kerala State Pharmacy Council guidance, internal policies, and statutory audits.
5. Operational quality: Maintain hygiene, safety, and operational discipline in accordance with ekincare clinical policies.
6. Stock verification & procurement: Verify stock weekly, maintain minimum stock levels, and support procurement of medicines required by the Onsite Health Center (OHC).
7. Expired medicines & waste disposal: Arrange timely return of expired medicines to vendors and ensure safe disposal of biomedical drug waste.
8. Professional responsibilities: Work under OHC guidance, complete duties assigned by the Principal Employer, and maintain professional relationships with stakeholders.
9. Training & absence protocol: Attend mandatory training. For planned or emergency absence, arrange a competent replacement with prior intimation.
10. Licensing & renewals: Assist with drug licences, compliance documentation, and periodic renewals.
