Van Driver

Manage product dispatch from the warehouse, load and drive the assigned sales van, sell and deliver materials directly to local customers, and support warehouse operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Van Sales & Driving: Drive daily sales routes, pitch and sell products to new and existing accounts, collect payments, and issue daily invoices/receipts.
• Receive incoming stock, systematically arrange materials on racks/pallets, maintain clean inventory rows, and ensure stock is easy to access.
• Packing & Dispatch: Pick, count, pack, and bundle materials securely according to daily sales orders or delivery manifests.
• Loading & Vehicle Stocking: Load packed materials onto the van based on route order, conduct daily morning/evening inventory audits, and prevent damage in transit.
• Vehicle & Safety Upkeep: Maintain van cleanliness, run basic pre-trip checks (fuel, oil, tire pressure), and follow Godown safety guidelines during heavy lifting.

Requirements

• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record for light commercial vehicles.
• Experience in sales driving, warehouse material handling, or stock packing.
• Physical capability to lift heavy materials, pack goods, and manage loading/unloading tasks.
• Basic math and literacy skills for accurate stock counting, billing, and cash collection.
• Reliable, punctual, and comfortable taking initiative in both shop sales and Godown tasks.
