CAD Designer - Track
- To prepare track alignment drawings manually based on cad drawings/ schematic drawings manually or using alignment design software like Bentley, Civil 3D etc.
- To, prepare yard layout plans, station layout plans, layout plans of circulating areas, passenger areas.
- To prepare ballast profile and formation profile drawings.
- To prepare schematic drawings, dimensional drawings, isometric drawings of track components and vendor items.
- To prepare traffic diversions plan due to execution of additional facilities in projects in already constructed infrastructure.
- To prepare signage and indication for various components/ sub components/ systems/ sub system in Railway Projects for track components, chainage, ways for Railways..
- To prepare detailed drawings of plinth, slabs, concrete sleepers, turnout and crossover sleepers, T beams, showing reinforcement details, form work, openings, joints and connection details, grouting details, Earthing and bonding of different track elements, drainage elements, piles and piers, foundations infringing with track form, combined drawings for track and trackside installations.
- To prepare drawings of columns, beams, slabs framing plans, grade slabs, lintels soffits, gutters, corbels and other, structural elements where track is supported on columns/ gantries/ inspection or washing platforms (aprons).or infringing with foundations of structures or buildings.
- To produce bar bending schedules and reinforcement drawings, joining details, welding details, as required for track works and track assemblies.
- Collaborate with engineers and project managers to understand project requirements and specifications.
- Ensure all drawings and plans comply with industry standards and regulations.
- Revise drawings and plans based on feedback from engineers and project managers.
- Maintain and update project documentation (Designs and Drawings) and records.
- Assist in the preparation of project reports and presentations.
- Utilize CAD software to create and modify drawings.
- Conduct site visits to gather data and verify measurements as needed.
- To, prepare Drawings of Retaining walls, RE walls etc. wherever normal earth filling and slope cannot be provided for Railway formation.
- To prepare drawings of Gantries and Roof Truss for Railway Maintenance facilities
Quantity Estimation: Prepare detailed quantity take-offs, estimates, and bills of quantities (BOQ) from design drawings and specifications.
