Design Engineer

Job Description

. The selected candidates will be responsible for preparing and modifying mechanical drawings and designs for industrial furnaces and mechanical equipment.

Key Responsibilities

* Prepare detailed 2D mechanical drawings using AutoCAD.

* Develop and modify 3D models and engineering designs.

* Prepare drawings for industrial furnaces and related mechanical equipment.

* Understand engineering drawings, dimensions, tolerances and manufacturing requirements.

* Coordinate with the production/manufacturing team to ensure designs are practical and accurate.

* Make design modifications based on production and client requirements.

* Assist in preparing fabrication and manufacturing drawings.

* Maintain proper documentation and revision control of drawings.

* Ensure designs comply with required engineering and manufacturing standards.

Eligibility

Qualification:

* ITI – Draftsman / Mechanical Draftsman, or

* B.Tech/B.E. – Mechanical Engineering

* Candidates with strong AutoCAD skills will be preferred.

Experience:

* Minimum 1 year of relevant experience in mechanical design/drafting.

* Freshers with excellent AutoCAD skills and relevant technical knowledge may also be considered.

Required Skills

* AutoCAD – mandatory

* Knowledge of 2D & 3D engineering design

* Mechanical drafting and drawing preparation

* Understanding of manufacturing/fabrication processes

* Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings

* Knowledge of engineering dimensions and tolerances

* Good coordination and problem-solving skills
