Accountant

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain and update daily accounting records and transactions.
• Prepare and record sales, purchase, receipt, and payment entries.
• Handle cash and bank transactions and maintain proper records.
• Prepare and maintain bank reconciliation statements (BRS).
• Maintain accounts payable and accounts receivable records.
• Verify invoices, bills, vouchers, and supporting documents.
• Assist in GST, TDS, and other statutory compliance activities.
• Assist in preparation of monthly reports and account statements.
• Maintain proper filing and documentation of financial records.
• Assist senior accountants during monthly closing and audit activities.
• Perform other accounting duties as assigned by the Accounts Manager.

Required Skills

• Basic knowledge of accounting principles.
• Good knowledge of MS Excel.
• Working knowledge of Tally / accounting software.
• Basic understanding of GST and TDS.
• Good numerical and analytical skills.
• Attention to detail and accuracy.
• Good communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality of financial information.

Qualification

• B.Com / M.Com / equivalent qualification preferred.
• Freshers with relevant knowledge may also apply.
