Job Description

Job Responsibilities

  • Prepare and cook different varieties of momos, including steamed, fried, and other specialty momos.
  • Prepare fillings, dough, chutneys, sauces, and other required ingredients.
  • Ensure consistent taste, quality, portion size, and presentation.
  • Maintain cleanliness and hygiene of the cooking and preparation area.
  • Follow food safety and kitchen hygiene standards.
  • Keep track of stock and inform the supervisor when ingredients are running low.
  • Work efficiently during busy hours and handle multiple orders accurately.
  • Follow recipes and instructions provided by the kitchen supervisor/chef.

Requirements

  • Previous experience making momos or working in a fast-food/restaurant kitchen is preferred.
  • Good knowledge of momo preparation and cooking techniques.
  • Ability to work quickly and efficiently in a busy kitchen.
  • Basic understanding of food hygiene and safety.
  • Reliable, punctual, and hardworking.
  • Ability to work well as part of a team.
