Job Description
- Provide prompt hardware, software, and network support across all departments to resolve glitches and ensure uninterrupted business operations.
- Configure, install, maintain, and troubleshoot desktop systems, laptops, workstations, printers, and handheld barcode scanners.
- Monitor system performance regularly to optimize processing speeds and minimize operational costs.
- 2. Network & Cybersecurity EnforcementEnforce robust digital security standards, including two-factor authentication (2FA), firewall management, and endpoint protection.
- Monitor network access to prevent unauthorized personal routers, switches, or storage devices from connecting to the corporate network.
- Ensure strict adherence to security policies, such as keeping administrative credentials confidential and preventing the unauthorized transfer of data across workstations.
- 3. Data Protection, ERP, and BackupsProtect classified information, including R&D nano-coatings formulations, financial ledgers, and employee records.
- Support the maintenance of automated data backups, cloud drives, and server logs to prevent critical data loss.
- Oversee role-based access control within the corporate ERP system to maintain data integrity.
- 4. Vendor Coordination & Asset TrackingCollaborate with external technology vendors and service providers to resolve specialized IT issues.
- Maintain an up-to-date inventory of all IT hardware and software assets, ensuring license compliance and handling technical incident ticketing.
- Required Qualifications & SkillsEducation: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or recognized technical certifications such as CompTIA A+, MCITP, or CCNA).
- Experience: 1 to 3 years of hands-on experience in IT support, network administration, and hardware troubleshooting, preferably within a manufacturing or corporate environment.
- Core Competencies: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, ability to manage high-pressure situations during system downtime, and effective communication skills to translate technical issues for non-technical staff.
