Job Description
We are looking for a dedicated and detail-oriented Account Assistant to support our Accounts and Transport Operations team. The candidate will be responsible for accounting entries, billing, vendor payments, , GST-related work, and maintaining financial records.
Key Responsibilities
- Daily accounting entries in Tally Prime.
- Preparation and verification of transport bills and invoices.
- Vendor payment processing and record maintenance.
- Bank reconciliation and cash/bank book management.
- Monitoring outstanding receivables and payables.
- Preparing MIS reports in Excel.
- Assisting in GST, TDS, and other accounting compliance work.
- Coordinating with transporters, vendors, and customers regarding billing and payment issues.
- Maintaining proper documentation and filing of invoices, vouchers, and transport records.
Required Skills
- Good knowledge of Tally Prime.
- Strong working knowledge of MS Excel (Formulas).
- Basic understanding of GST and TDS.
- Good communication and coordination skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks.
