Job Description:
We are a high-precision engineering and manufacturing facility looking for dedicated VMC Machine Operators to join our shop floor. We are hiring both highly experienced senior operators and freshers eager to build a career in precision manufacturing. You will be operating Cosmos Smartmill CNC machines equipped with Mitsubishi controllers.
Role 1: Senior VMC Operator (2 Openings)
Experience: 4+ years in VMC operation (Mitsubishi controller experience is mandatory).
Responsibilities:
Independently set up jobs, take tool offsets, and operate Cosmos VMC machines.
Read and interpret complex engineering drawings and GD&T tolerances.
Inspect finished parts using micrometers, vernier calipers, and coordinate with the CMM metrology lab to ensure tight tolerances.
Troubleshoot basic machine alarms and maintain daily production logs.
Guide and mentor fresher operators on the shop floor.
Role 2: VMC Operator Trainee (2 Openings)
Experience: 0-1 year (ITI / Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or Machinist trade preferred).
Responsibilities:
Assist senior operators with machine loading/unloading and basic setups.
Learn to operate Mitsubishi controls and read manufacturing blueprints.
Maintain workplace cleanliness (5S) and strictly follow safety protocols.
Key Skills Required: VMC Operation, Mitsubishi Controller, Blueprint Reading, Precision Measuring Instruments, GD&T (Basic).
