Job Title: Admission Counselor

Job Description:

We are looking for a motivated and professional Admission Counselor to guide prospective students and parents through the admission process. The candidate will be responsible for counseling, lead follow-ups, converting inquiries into admissions, and maintaining strong relationships with students and parents.

Key Responsibilities:

• Counsel students and parents regarding courses, programs, eligibility, fees, and admission procedures.
• Handle incoming inquiries through calls, messages, and walk-ins.
• Follow up with prospective students and maintain regular communication.
• Convert leads and inquiries into successful admissions.
• Understand students' educational goals and recommend suitable courses.
• Explain course details, career opportunities, and institute facilities.
• Maintain accurate records of leads, follow-ups, and admissions.
• Coordinate with the academic and administration teams for the admission process.
• Meet assigned admission and conversion targets.
• Provide excellent customer service and resolve student/parent queries.
• Participate in seminars, education fairs, and promotional activities when required.

Requirements:

• Graduate degree in any discipline preferred.
• Prior experience in admissions, education counseling, telecalling, or sales is preferred.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Good convincing and negotiation abilities.
• Strong follow-up and customer-handling skills.
• Basic computer knowledge and familiarity with CRM tools is an advantage.
• Target-oriented and able to work independently as well as in a team.
