Job Description

n assistant store manager supports the store manager by running daily business operations, supervising staff, helping customers, and managing inventory. They step in as the leader when the manager is absent and ensure the store meets its sales goals. 

Staff Management

  • Hire and train new workers
  • Write employee work schedules
  • Supervise the team and assign daily tasks
  • Give performance feedback and coaching 

Daily Operations

  • Open and close the store
  • Handle cash registers and balance drawers
  • Solve customer complaints
  • Keep the store clean and safe 

Sales and Inventory

  • Track inventory and restock items
  • Display products to look attractive
  • Review daily sales reports
