Picker / Packer

Role Overview

We are looking for an energetic and detail-oriented Picker & Packer to join our fulfillment team. You will be responsible for processing daily customer orders accurately and efficiently. From locating products on warehouse shelves to securely packing and labeling them for dispatch, you will be the final checkpoint ensuring our customers receive their orders on time and in perfect condition.

Key Responsibilities

Picking

• Read and interpret daily pick lists or digital orders via smartphone/handheld barcode scanners.
• Locate correct items, SKUs, sizes, and quantities swiftly across warehouse shelves.
• Inspect items for any visible defects, stains, or damages before moving them to the packing station.

Packing & Labeling

• Select appropriate box sizes, mailers, and protective materials (bubble wrap, paper fill) to ensure safe transit.
• Affix correct shipping labels, invoices, and brand inserts/flyers accurately onto packages.
• Seal cartons securely and weigh packages as per courier guidelines.

Inventory & Warehouse Maintenance

• Assist in periodic stock counting and physical inventory audits.
• Keep the picking and packing zones clean, organized, and adequately stocked with packaging supplies.
• Report any stock discrepancies or damaged inventory immediately to the warehouse supervisor.

Requirements & Qualifications

• Education: Minimum 10th or 12th pass (Higher secondary or equivalent).
• Experience: 0 to 1 year of experience in a warehouse, fulfillment center, or retail stockroom (freshers with high energy and willingness to learn are welcome).
• Skills:
• Basic reading and writing skills (English/Hindi) to read product labels and shipping slips.
• Comfort using smartphones, basic apps, or handheld barcode scanners.
• High attention to detail to minimize wrong shipments.
• Physical Fitness: Ability to stand for long hours and lift/move boxes weighing up to 10–15 kg.
