About the Role

Habitat & Co. (A brand of Wood Point) is looking for a Field Market Survey & Site Measurement Executive to identify under-construction residential projects across Gurgaon and generate new business leads.

The primary responsibility is to find construction projects, identify the relevant stakeholder and obtain their contact details.

Once a lead is generated, the company will take over the sales process and deal directly with the stakeholder.

When required, the candidate will also visit qualified projects and take basic measurements of kitchen and wardrobe areas for design and quotation purposes.

Key Responsibilities

1. Market Survey & Lead Generation

Travel across Gurgaon and identify relevant under-construction properties and projects, including:

• Builder floors
• Independent houses
• Villas
• PG buildings
• Residential buildings
• Small apartment projects
• Renovation/reconstruction projects

For each relevant project, collect:

• Project/site location
• Type of project
• Owner/builder name
• Owner/builder contact number
• Approximate number of floors/units
• Basic construction stage

The main objective is to identify the stakeholder and obtain their correct contact number.

The candidate may need to speak with site workers, contractors, guards, neighbours or other people at the site to identify the owner/builder.

2. Lead Handover

Once the stakeholder's contact details have been obtained:

• Record the information in the company's lead database.
• Share the lead with the company.
• Provide any useful information gathered during the site visit.

The company's sales team will then handle the stakeholder directly:

Lead → Contact → Meeting → Requirement → Quotation → Order

3. Kitchen & Wardrobe Measurements

When required by the company, visit qualified project sites and take accurate measurements of:

• Kitchen areas
• Wardrobe areas

Measurements may include:

• Wall-to-wall dimensions
• Height
• Doors and windows
• Columns/beams
• Plumbing points
• Electrical points
• Other relevant site conditions

The candidate will be trained on how to take and record measurements.

The candidate should also take photographs of the relevant areas and submit the measurements and site details to the company.

Candidate Requirements

Mandatory:

• Own two-wheeler or four-wheeler
• Valid driving licence
• Willingness to travel extensively across Gurgaon
• Comfortable visiting construction sites
• Comfortable approaching and speaking with new people
• Good communication skills
• Basic smartphone, WhatsApp and Google Maps knowledge
• Basic ability to maintain information in Excel/Google Sheets

Candidates without their own vehicle will not be considered.

Experience

Experience in any of the following is preferred but not mandatory:

• Field sales
• Real estate
• Construction
• Interior design
• Modular furniture
• Building materials

Freshers are welcome if they are confident, proactive and comfortable with fieldwork.

• Number of verified stakeholder contacts obtained
• Quality of leads generated
• Accuracy of information collected
• Coverage of Gurgaon
• Accuracy of measurements when assigned

Growth Opportunity

A strong performer can eventually move into a Sales / Business Development role with Habitat & Co.

• This is primarily a field lead-generation role, with site measurement as an additional responsibility when required.
