About the role  

As an Engineer III (Wireless Network Engineer), you will design, deploy, optimize, and support enterprise wireless solutions across campus, branch, and multi-site environments. We will count on you to deliver reliable Cisco wireless implementations, resolve complex WLAN issues, and guide clients through design, migration, and handover activities. Along the way, you will get to: 

• Design and implement enterprise wireless solutions using Cisco Catalyst 9800 Series Wireless Controllers, Cisco Catalyst Center, and Cisco Meraki cloud-managed networking platforms. 

• Conduct wireless assessments, RF and capacity planning, coverage analysis, validation, and post-deployment optimization, including Ekahau-based planning where applicable. 

• Troubleshoot coverage gaps, roaming, interference, authentication, channel planning, signal strength, and client connectivity or performance issues. 

• Prepare low-level designs, survey reports, implementation and test plans, configuration documents, and operational handover materials while collaborating with clients and cross-functional teams.

What we’re looking for 

• 5+ years of hands-on experience in enterprise wireless network engineering, including wireless design, implementation, and controller-based WLAN deployments. 

• Experience with Cisco Catalyst 9800 Wireless Controllers, AireOS migrations, Cisco Catalyst Center, Cisco Meraki Dashboard and MR access points, WLAN security, RF optimization, and guest wireless design. 

• Solid understanding of wireless standards and supporting network services, including 802.11ax/ac, VLANs, trunks, PoE, QoS, DHCP, DNS, RADIUS, TACACS+, SNMP, NTP, OSPF, and BGP. 

• Preferred certifications include CCNP Enterprise, CCNA Enterprise, Cisco Meraki certification, Cisco Enterprise Network Core specialist, or CompTIA Security+; Ekahau and Cisco ISE experience are advantageous.
