Production Engineer

Key Responsibilities

Production Management

• Supervise daily production activities to ensure adherence to schedules and output targets.
• Monitor production equipment and processes to maintain efficiency and quality standards.
• Ensure proper allocation and utilization of manpower, materials, and machinery.

Team Supervision

• Manage and guide production staff, providing training and performance feedback.
• Assign tasks, monitor progress, and ensure workers adhere to company policies and safety guidelines.
• Address and resolve team conflicts or issues.

Quality Assurance

• Implement and enforce quality control measures during production processes.
• Conduct inspections and troubleshoot defects or irregularities in the production line.
• Maintain detailed documentation of quality checks and corrective actions.

Safety and Compliance

• Enforce workplace safety regulations and conduct regular safety audits.
• Investigate and resolve any safety incidents or hazards.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, industry standards, and legal requirements.

Continuous Improvement

• Identify opportunities to enhance efficiency, reduce costs, and improve quality.
• Collaborate with management and engineering teams to implement process improvements.
• Support the implementation of Lean, Six Sigma, or other efficiency methodologies.

Reporting

• Prepare and submit production reports, including output, downtime, and resource utilization.
• Communicate production updates and issues to management.
