Project Head

We are seeking an experienced Project Head to lead the setup and operation of a greenfield blow molding facility manufacturing plastic containers for the dairy industry.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end project execution from planning through commercial production.
• Design plant layout, utilities, production flow, warehousing, and material handling systems.
• Select, procure, install, and commission machinery and supporting infrastructure.
• Establish manufacturing processes, quality systems, maintenance programs, and SOPs.
• Recruit and develop the core operations team.
• Manage vendors, contractors, budgets, timelines, and statutory compliance.
• Coordinate with customers to meet technical, quality, and audit requirements.
• Oversee plant operations after commissioning and drive performance improvements.

Candidate Profile

• Proven experience setting up and commissioning a blow molding, rigid packaging, or plastics manufacturing facility.
• Strong knowledge of HDPE/PP processing and packaging applications.
• Experience in production ramp-up, plant operations, and team leadership.
• Ability to manage cross-functional teams, suppliers, contractors, and regulatory approvals.
• Mandatory experience supplying the dairy, FMCG, food, or beverage industries.
• Thorough understanding of industry compliance requirements, customer audits, quality systems, food-contact packaging standards, and regulatory certifications applicable to these sectors.
